I’m a product marketer and entrepreneur based in Nashville, TN.

~15 years of product marketing experience across consumer, developer, SMB, and enterprise audiences with a decade in leadership and management positions.

How I think about Marketing

I believe all Marketers are Product Marketers. The role is irreplaceable and should sit at the center of everything. Story and product should be interwoven and built together. “Marketing work” should align to the product development process. And it’s all about earning and maintaining product market fit (PMF). I organize the work into four mostly linear focus areas with key questions to be answered:

I spend most of my days focused on how AI, AR, and web3/blockchain can responsibly help people and businesses unlock their potential.

A few work examples

Project Starline

Feel like you’re there, together. Project Starline is a technology project from Gogle that combines advances in hardware and software to enable friends, families and coworkers to feel together, even when they're cities (or countries) apart. Imagine looking through a sort of magic window, and through that window, you see another person, life-size and in three dimensions.

The project was announced by Sundar Pichai (the CEO of Google) at Google I/O (keynote, blog) and continues to be part of Google’s largest events like Cloud Next. My team spearheaded all go-to-market initiatives for the announcement and continues to lead all Marketing initiatives like enterprise marketing and experiential demos for this revolutionary project shaping the “future of work”. It was featured on 60 Minutes in 2023.

Augmented reality glasses

Google has called augmented reality the “next frontier of computing”. My team and I oversaw all Marketing for early AR hardware bets and prototypes. This emotional video closed Google’s biggest event (Google I/O) and demonstrated what happens when we take our advancements in translation and transcription and deliver them in your line of sight in one of the early AR prototypes we’d been testing.

Augmented reality services

Augmented reality (AR) helps you do more with what you see and has the potential to transform the way we play, shop, learn, create and experience the world together. I built a team that helped launch and grow products such as AR in Google Search, Live View in Google Maps, Playground in Google Pixel, Google Lens, ARCore and Glass Enterprise 2.

Gorillaz Presents

Augmented reality (AR) can be used as an immersive way to bring fans and supporters closer to art. Google partnered with Gorillaz, the world’s biggest virtual band, to reimagine what’s possible with AR by creating a world-scale, immersive music video in NYC’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus. My team led co-marketing for Google. This campaign was honored at the Webbys, Cannes Lion and Tribeca X.

Badges: a personal web3 project

Badges (www.badges.xyz) empowers businesses and creators with the tools they need to expand their brand and drive their marketing goals forward with digital collectibles. It was voted #2 web3 product of the week on Product Hunt. I co-created the project with Bhargav Patel after meeting on Discord while participating in a remote blockchain hackathon.
